Bells of Christmas

Scroll down to see large picture

Let your holiday spirit ring out far and wide as you stitch this glorious composition of flowing red ribbons, sprays of greenery, and delicate porcelain bells. It's so beautiful, you'll want to display it year 'round, rather than just at celebration time!

Learn Sandy's easy way to create depth and dimension as you utilize your needle and silks to create the flowing ribbon. We'll also work with directional shading. Stitching time will be allotted in class for experimentation and to practice the methods with the help of the instructor.

In addition to Sandy's approach to realistic and directional shading and how easy they are to do effectively, we’ll learn or nué technique, some basic goldwork, chipping, how to handle two new thread embellishments, grounding a motif, and so much more. The instruction booklet contains "work-in-progress" photos that make completing the project easy.
